Big Yellow Barn Wedding | Jeannine & Mike

Have you ever heard a love story starting at the vet clinic? I have! Jeannine is a vet in Big Timber, MT, and she stole Mike’s heart when he met her at his dog’s checkup. After a few visits, he mustered up enough courage and asked her out on a date. The rest is just a series of Crazy Montana Country Veterinarian Tales with Mike side-kicking Jeannine’s animal-saving, super-hero life. Their love story is the lore of old cowboy folk tales!!

On a beautiful sunny summer day, August 15th, Mike and Jeannine got hitched down at the Big Yellow Barn in Bozeman, MT. Nothing in 2020 is without a COVID hiccup. One of the groomsmen assumed it would be postponed and went fishin’. But you can’t phase love… Mike wrangled up his sister, Becky, to be his grooms-woman! From there on out, everything went on as planned, and it was an absolute, wonderful celebration of love!

During the around-the-corner sneak peek, Mike almost snuck a real look!! It’s a good thing, Baily, the best man, was there to keep Mike from peering around the corner! ;-D

Jeannine looked stunning!! Gorgeous!! Exquisite as she came down the aisle with her father. I love seeing the groom’s eyes light up when they see their bride for the first time!!!

It was really touching to see such strong family bonds throughout the day. Jeannine’s bridesmaids were her two sisters. Their father raised those three girls into strong women all by himself! After dinner, he gave a very touching speech about what a kind, smart, talented person Jeannine is. His pride and joy filled that whole yellow barn. Then during the dance, all the day’s love and joy started hollerin’ through the night sky. It was also totally cute to see Mike’s parents slowly dancing so in love after so many years of marriage.

OMG!!! Check out the amazing golden hour we got to witness in the beautiful Bozeman Valley. My jaw dropped when I was culling through the photos to see the art created by combining dreamy light with a stunning couple! That’s why I when I’m working out a wedding day timeline with my bride and groom, I make sure we schedule at least half an hour of romantic photo time during golden hour!!!

I’m so freaked grateful to have been part of Jeannine and Mike’s celebration of love! Thank you so much, Jeannine and Mike, for having me be part of your wedding day and all the events and time leading up to it. Including the frick’n freezing elopement session that you two made look like it was a sunny warm day on the beach (love can do that for ya). I wish you all the happiness in the world, the art of compromise, and the ability to be completely present at the moment in this amazing adventure called life!
