HOLI FESTIVAL AT MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY

I feel so lucky living in a university town where students come and share their cultures and ideas from all over the globe. We love to go to different events to learn and explore the amazing diversity.

One such event was the Holi Festival put on by the Indian Student Association. Holi Festival is a popular Hindu Festival also known as  the Festival of Love. It is a time to unite in celebration of the joy of  being alive. Setting aside all feelings of resentment and unhappiness to enjoy a day of connecting with others. The vibrancy of the colors expresses the positivity in our lives worth rejoicing. There is music filling the air, water spraying and colored powder flying. People of all ages playing and having fun together. Some even playing practical jokes! ;-D
